Nothing new on the Lamar Odom and Sasha Vujacic fronts. They're looking at one-year veteran's minimum deals right now.

They've been looking at it for over a week now..wtf?

"wtf?" I think he goes back to Clips with Doc and that roster now for at least a chance at a ring. Since the money is the same now. Vs playing for Dan and our roster. Unless......and we can only hope......his heart really is still here, plus the prospect of much more playing time. They just amnestied his Homie as well. :man5:

Well that depends on if they pick up Jamison first. Then I don't think they'd want Odom.

In the case of an unfortunate divorce, Khloe wanted: a flat sum of about $500,000 for every year they were married, $25,000 a month in general support, their new house, a new luxury vehicle at the end of every lease cycle, $5,000 a month for shopping, $1,000 for beauty care AND courtside Lakers tickets for everyone in her family.

yup. bring it up and make him sign as a laker!

Lets just say Sasha and Lamar agree to come on ...

I still say Blake and Hill won't be here to end the year definetly and Meeks is on thin ice

. Why would you keep Hill when you can have Kenyon and Lamar share the spot, and provide better play? Logically there's a reason hill hasn't logged more than 16mpg in his career on average, he gets hurt a bunch.

Then the fact is Blake hit chicken pox and played poorly year one, sucked year 2 and missed 2 months, missed half the season last year before playing well only to get hurt again in the playoffs? Why keep him when Farmar is cheaper and Sasha is available and defended PGs and played backup pg under Phil and will take the min?

Same can be said about Meeks too. Why take the cap hit when Young is here for the min, Sasha can play his role too, and cdr would love a roster spot?

Farmar, Nick, Sasha, CDR, LO, and Kenyon while avoiding the tax is better than paying out 10mil to Meeks to be streaky and Hill and Blake to both get hurt.

I don't see Kenyon Martin here, and I haven't heard that he's eager to or on the verge of signing here. Also, why keep Hill over those LO and Martin? Because he's still young (only 25, only been in the league 4 years) and not close to retirement and has shown potential and plays with tons of heart and hustle which is not easy to find. One of the reasons we're in the position we're in right now (old, broken down, having to start over next season) is because we didn't keep and develop enough young and athletic players, Hill is still both. We rent Martin dor a season at the expense of losing Hill, where does that leave us when Martin is gone? starting over again, looking for another old PF willing to sign here for a season.

The only reason I ever consider trading him is one you pointed out, injury. If he continues to get injured and proves to be injury prone, then I trade him if I can or just let him walk. As he is healthy though, you aren't getting equal value for him in a trade, or getting a player as good as him at his position for the money he makes. Blake, on the other hand, I would trade him no problem, I've overall been disappointed with his Laker career and he gets injured too much for sure, freak accidents or not.

That can't be right, there aren't courtside seats available for that many if any people. You can't bump people out. Not to mention it would probably cost more that his entire minimum salary at this point.

I just thinks its glaring that 16mpg is Hills career high, and that he was hurt when we got him with a knee injury and then missed most of last year. Love his work ethic and attitude but boy his durability to injury and heavy minutes worries me. Kenyon may not be jumping for joy per say but he and Odom would have a shot at 24min a game and in a city they know. Kenyon and Lamar last year logged more mpg than Hill has ever come close to its just worrisome. If I knew he would be healthy love to keep em

I just think we need to start hanging onto our younger players with potential, and Hill is the only one of those we have of those from last season. Can't be renting old players year after year and expect to keep winning like that, at some point we have to develop and stick with some younger talent IMO. Hill might prove to be injury prone and not one of those guys for us, but I give him this season at least to find out.

One of the L.A. photogs Lamar Odom went nuts on this week has lawyered up, law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... and we're told the man plans to press charges against the NBA star. According to sources, detectives are still investigating the incident -- when Lamar flipped on two photogs in Hollywood, damaging equipment and allegedly smashing one of their cars -- but the case will most likely be forwarded to the L.A. City Attorney soon for criminal prosecution. TMZ.com

The paparazzi are scum, judges should take that into account when handling their cases, they shouldn't be treated as fairly as normal, non-scum human beings. :mihihi: I can't seriously say Lamar did the right thing, obviously the right thing is to ignore them and not lose control, but personally I don't feel sorry for paparazzi when stars finally snap and go after them.

What are the Clippers offering him? If its close to what we're offering then I have no doubts he will sign with us. Yeah the Clippers will be the better team next season but its not like they're winning a championship any time soon (or ever).

So what's the hold up? Anyways with Jordan and SwagyP on board, this is a successful offseason in my book.

Clipps probably remembering LO coming in fat last year and taking most of season to get in shape. Between the 2 Doc will pick who he likes. I hope Lamar gets into one of his feeling disrespected snits again with the waiting and picks the Lakers. And doesn't come in out of shape. Seems to be his M.O. now though.

I'm not sold Lamar has anything left. He looked absolutely horrible the last two years. He's out of shape and his mind is not on the court. As much as I can't stand Kmart I'd take him over Odom because he at least has shown a little of his former ability. Odom has just been going through the motions out there.

I like Sasha but at this point we have a lot of people at his position. I'd play him 2 over Meeks but I'm not sure MDA would.
