The retooling has to begin with the GM. Mitch is not up to the task. It's time for him to go.

That is what Mitch is up against. Until the owner is willing to spend, LA will not get players. Shaq is taking up 1/2 the cap space. Tough to fill out a roster of studs unless owner says the check book is open.

Yes but the free agents will come to L.A. Why not? We only have two of the best players in the leauge (Shaq and Kobe) and if they do come, we will be back in the hunt and possibly, even better than last year, and the year before that etc...
