But, what about the stubbornness of Jim Buss, how can this be?

Terrence Williams- a SF version of Earl Clark, even went to his same school. Dude can play, and even has point guard skills
Howard Gasol
Clark Hill
MWP
Kobe Meeks
Nash Duhon
Playoff rotation! Bring Casspi or Ariza back home for a Title Run Mitch!!!

There are certain players that come into the NBA and seemingly fall off for no reason. Young players. He's always been a guy who seems like he's go the game to be a decent pro, but just never found his niche.

Maybe with the way Clark is playing, it'd be time to give T Will a shot. Ebanks is clearly not going to be a part of this team going forward and Kobe is plying too many mins.

Lakers will have to wait until March if they wanna sign Terrence Williams. Cause T-Will is playing in China right now. CBA playoffs end in March. I would like to see T-Will sign with the Lakers. I think he would thrive under D'Antoni's offense.

Just so I understand this correctly... the player exception request couldn't be used to save money, because it can only assist a team if it is used to acquire another player, right?

Or, could they do be doing this solely to recoup the money they shed out for Hill?

Um, just because he has been stubborn for weeks when the Lakers were thin and needed help doesn't mean he can't change now. :man1: If they keep rolling out Sacre, Duhon, Morris, Ebanks, and Clark or Jamison as a 5 unit and blowing leads then he is beyond stubborn. Martin, West, Childres, somebody with experience to help them get some quality minutes.

But yes, this is a sign of at least some tweaks coming up -- this plus dumping DJO. Unless they are strictly for money reasons and nothing else. If that is the case, he is stubborn and stupid. :man2:

Sorry man, but I can't agree that he's stubborn for not just throwing money at free agents that may it may not want to come here and may or may not jump in and make an impact this late in the game either. This seasons has also shown you can't just throw the biggest names you can get out there and make it work, it's about fit and team chemistry and all that as well.

The whole Jim Buss thing around here is a real head scratcher.

Curious question, but from what I've read, the Lakers can now "acquire" a new player to replace Hill...

So can we only straight-up sign a player? Or does it technically open a roster spot to trade Pau for 3 players now? :man1:

With Dwight, Pau and Hill all are down and out, time to use the disable player exception on Kenyon Martin ?
