New York. It would be nice to watch the game on the plane:-(

I watched game 3 vs the nugs in 2009 on a plane...man it was even more intense. Game started right when I got on and finished right when I landed :jam2:

we need to understand that every loss costs you 2 days of rest...EVERY LOSS.

With that in mind, we should always be absolutely concerned to sweep.

It can also give you a MAJOR advantage if you sweep and your next round opponent has to play 6 or 7 crueling games...thats what the post season is all about. Matchups and rest.

We are so lucky to be a part of a league that allows teams to tank so we get favorable matchups. I love being the biggest money draw in the league! It's like never having to worry about being competitive. Such a perfect dynasty. LAKESHOWBABY!!!!!!!

I want a sweep too. The only way I see it going 5 is if CP3 has a monster game.

It can be a good thing if this can go 5 or 6 because the potential second round opponent (POR/DAL) will probably be coming off a 6 or 7 game series...if we end our series early then sure we get rest but we tend to goof up the first game of the next round because of lack of activity and rest. Rest is good but a lengthy rest is bad..EG: LAL/Spurs game 1 in 2008, LAL/HOU game 1 in 2009

At the same time, we've also seen what good can come out of rest, as exemplified by our 17-1 run after the break.

^ they technically didn't rest. Pau and Kobe played in the all star game. Fish was busy all weekend with the labor talks. LO and Ron signing autographs and partying all over the place. I think they took a mental break from our team per se but not a physical break where they gave their bodies a rest...I think only Bynum did and he gained the most from it.

I will miss Joel, although I won't miss the bickering aimed at him from Stu. Hopefully Stu gets along better with Spero. I would love to see Joel go back to simulcast on radio. I really liked him there and he had a good rapport with Mychal Thompson. He would probably turn that down though because he would see it as a demotion.
