Keep him, you could do a lot worse with a 14th/15th roster spot, a lot worse. Worst case scenario he doesn't work out, doesn't play, oh well. Best case, he's a steal and contributes off the bench, battles Ebanks for playing time.

he was a legit supplemental scorer with the occasional huge outbursts that one year for the woeful nets. and he certainly looked like one of the better non-starter guys out there tonight (then again, he was on the floor witha bunch of dodos). but i agree, we could do worse

Players like Morris , Duhon shouldn't make the roster over him ...

That's what having a guaranteed contract will do for you.

^ Considering they're relatively small contracts, I could see the Lakers taking that pill if the right player was available. I think Douglas-Roberts is the right player.

We need to keep him & DJO. Two young wing players who I think can play at an NBA level; Complimentary pieces of course. CDR can score and play the 2/3 while DJO can play the 1/2 because he's strong & athletic enough to do so; So they add some versatitlity and youth to the bench. Add in another big, and we're set...

So I asked my wife if she's ever heard anyone say "Freak the doe".

I think Goudelock will be out , DJO in .... they like Sacre as a big insurance ... not sure how CDR could ( he should) make the roster ... plus we have a habit of starting the season with a 14 players roster ...

CDR better make the roster. He's better than ebanks, is a proven quality NBA player

His contract is not fully guaranteed so yes we can. He'd still have to get paid his 200,000 or something, but that's it.

I feel like the team is already fairly obvious who should make it and who needs to go as soon as possible to make room for the real players. Get rid of Morris, Goudelock, and Nelson NOW. They're not good enough to be NBA players.

Then you've got Somogyi who showed some okay flashes, better than I thought, but I think he's more suited for overseas play. DJO looked alright, but I need more to give him the go ahead.

He reminds me of Gadzuric more than just in similar looks, they also move very similar out on the court IMO. Both have a raw look about them, they're not fluid, kinda slow and robotic, like they're thinking through the footwork and moves they were taught not going off natural ability and instinct, both look like they only play because of their height. I'm a UCLA fan so I saw Gadzuric's whole career there and took notice when I saw him playing in the NBA too, he actually really improved from college to the pros after a few years.
