Right?
I think we all had the experience of just seeing the super tall kid on the basketball team that was awful but got there because he was tall. Meanwhile we (or someone we know) is working their tails off and can't make it because they aren't big or tall enough.
Happens all over the place.
I think Sacre is better than a sacre of crap, but everyone else is really down on him. He seems like a good kid, has said all the right things, and has made a nice impression on the staff. I don't know why everyone just crushes him all the time. It makes me root for him.

I'd like to see another big that could take some minutes and beating off of our main bigs during the 2nd half blowouts we should hopefully be seeing for the first time in a long time.

I'm rooting for the guy to succeed, I never root against our players and our picks, if they work out it's great for us. I'm still not sold on the guy completely though. He is better than I thought, he has that hook shot down, but I can't see him really getting in many actual games that count. Biggest thing though, is that hook shot is his only move, and by the 3rd time he was trying it the defense was ready for it. You can't have only one move, defenses will figure it out so easily and it will be stopped, he has to learn to fake that hook and go up and under, or pivot the other way or something, or he's going to start getting blocked. But he's a big dude, tall and bulky, he's 7 foot, he's 6 fouls, he's relatively cheap to have on the team, and he has nice touch around the rim, which I think it rare in big men these days. I've gone from thinking he was a stiff and would never make it to believing he can definitely be a 3rd string center in the NBA, I'm happy to admit when I'm wrong if it means a player turns out better than I thought.
