Clip joint down six to the Nougat at halftime.

I thought for sure the Clippers would lose tonight so that kind of sucks. We still need them to lose two games in order to secure that 3rd seed otherwise if they lose any less than that then we need to take 2 out of the next 3 which might be difficult.

It's in our hands. If we win the games, we don't worry about it. We've got two and a half tough games coming up that we need to take care of. Friday is going to determine a lot. If we win, SA probably goes to the 2nd seed and we probably hold onto the 3rd. That puts us against them in the 2nd round if we can beat Dallas in the 1st instead of up against OKC.

^^^^ Spurs have the tiebreaker against OKC ... even if they loss against us , I think they will finish 1st ... the 4th seed is the best for us , yeah you got a tougher 1st round but we could have a shot at a longer run : Grizz , Spurs and maybe Clippers ( they match very well against OKC).

And if we have to face OKC , it's better to get them in the WCF because there will be a back to back game in the 2nd round ...

Gotta win 2 outta the last 3 to hold on to the 3 seed.... Not going lower than 4 though.
Clips have been solid lately.

yes they have, and yes they are very impressive...

that being said, I have a feeling they peaked too early. Its never good to enter the post-season with a long lasting streak...almost every year the team that comes in kicking arse suffers a disappointment.

See Bulls, Cavs, Spurs, Mavs, Heat of the past.

As long as we secure the 4 spot I am fine. Both OKC and Spurs are tough so it really doesn't matter who we face in the second round. Lakers are gonna have to really work for this championship.

If some how we face the Clippers in the WCF, home court advantage doesn't matter. LOL.

Falling to the 4 seed is more than likely a date with the Grizzlies in the first round... They seem pretty locked into that 5 position....

Maintaining 3rd would give us Dallas or Denver... Much better IMO.

Clippers SHOULD beat Phoenix and New Orleans which leaves Atlanta and New York. It will be neck and neck for the Pacific.

Phoenix is fighting for their playoff LIVES tonight....esp with the loss to OKC yesterday and they're in a dog fight with Houston and Utah for that 8th spot!!! I hope Clippers drop at least one game....but Lakers absolutely need to win these next 2games to put all the pressure back on the Clippers.

I feel confident about the Lakers winning 2 out of 3 games. For some reason I think the loss will come in Sacramento.

Hell you could even put us from last year on that list. We had a sick streak after the all-star break.

This is the hardest I ever rooted for Phoenix :man9:

Man it's nice to see Griffin flopping around to end the game and the call goes against him for once.. tired of his antics.. just not funny anymore.
