Lakers you miss for purely sentimental reasons

^ that 08 team was just shooters galore...Fisher, Sasha, Farmar, Rad, Cook (before we traded him away for Ariza). Heck even Luke Walton shot 33% from 3s in 74 games. Kobe shot 37% 3rd highest of his career. That team used to bomb 3 after 3 after 3

Perfect team for MDA. :man10:

Sasha would be good, because he's a combo guard. And I guarantee he would do a better job at the 1 then Morris.

On the other hand, we could just go with Farmar. He's currently posting 14/4/4, shooting 48% for 3. Not too bad. He's athletic too and only 27 years old.

odd that neither one wanted to come back to the NBA, especially Farmar, he must have been deadset on starting :man10:

My criteria for this was they couldn't be in the HoF.

Elmore Smith
Michael Cooper
Kurt Rambis
Orlando Woolridge
Vlade Divac
Sedale Threatt
Nick Van Exel
Rick Fox
Brian Shaw
Robert Horry
Derek Fisher
I shall be telling this with a sigh

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Eddie Jones and Van Exel. I didn't start watching basketball until 95' but those two were my favorite NBA players. Probably the reason I started watching basketball in the first place. Still have my Jones jersey in fact :man13:

I love FIsh, so I probably miss him on the team the most.

Recently, other than Fish, probably Sasha. That guy bled purple and gold for all the years he was here.

Seriously :man10:

You guys miss some weird dudes. Rad? The guy could shoot, but other than that he really earned the name "Space Cadet".

The Machiiiiiiine. How can you not miss that nickname? :man11:

Derek Fisher too, I guess. He's been on all of the Kobe era title teams... the clutch leader. Quality guy off court. Just a class act overall.

Jannero Pargo:Had a ton of heart and showed it even preseason that 2003-2004 season. Phil even mentioned his passion. I respect that.

Derek Fisher:He was apart of the 3peat team and the '09,'10 title teams. His clutchness, his leadership. I was 11 years old in 5th grade when they started that 3peat! I was 21 when they won in 2010. My whole life was that team at one point. Hard to put in words seeing him cry during the blowout game vs San Antonio I remember crying as well and being mad as all hell for a good while......0.4 nuff said.

Yeah I know .. Can't believe he's the laker that made the shot to break the all time assist record for Magic at the time .. Thats a good sports trivia question .. I still remember the shot too .. It was a turn around baseline fadeaway .. That's all he ever did was fadeaways.. Lol
