Let Kobe heal properly

Let Kobe heal properly

Postby Laker brain on Fri Jun 06, 2003 1:53 am

I would like Kobe be 100% before he is in uniform, I think this will be a great time for Devean and Kareem to get PT, I also think we need to acquire a playmaker, someone who can create his own shot, and is good ballhandler... Kobe on the other hand needs to heal, we all know Kobe is going to be in shape, He probably will dribble and shoot w/ good arm, and even run around to boosten his endurance. He'll be fine, and better than ever.

He will work on position defense (footwork) position offense (offensive footwork and post moves) and he will do running drills and probably shoot with his left hand...he will be ready and probably more ambidextrous as well....His defensive hands will improve on the left side, I know that much...

yeah Kobe's one of the most durable players I've ever seen, but we don't want his career turning into Grant Hill's.

Oooh Don't even mention the new Grant Hill ova here... I was just thinkin about that too... But any way, ur right it would be a great time to get the other players with some PT. They need minutes and time to do what they gotta do, and prove that our players are threats to any team also.

That's great to hear! But his love for the game shouldn't come ahead of what's more important to his health, u know?? But if he's aight to play, then bring it! :jam2:

Totally agree with you Snake. Kobe's too dedicated. I don't see him sitting out a regular season game. He'll play in preseason, but on a limited basis. The team has learned their lesson this past year when one of their superstars were not playing AT THE START. It will not repeat again and everyone should be healthy by start of the regular season. HOPEFULLY.
