GuRu had a pretty huge list. I´m sure he can post it if he has it.

He has made around 100 if not more CLUTCH shots. They have not always been last second shots or game winners but he has tied 1000 times with a minute to play or whatever. He has also missed A LOT but thats nothing special. ALL the clutch shooters miss more than they make, its all about the confidence they have in their ability to make that shot and that makes them so special. BTW clutch plays are not just plays in the last game a momentum turning shot is clutch, a clutch to stop a a run is a clutch shot,a defensive play is a clutch play and Kobe has also a lot of them. All in all clutchness has NOTHING TO DO with any stats or anything. Either you are clutch or you are not and I consider someone who takes responsibility and tries to hit an important shot clutch, no matter if he makes it or not. Its about the mental clutchness.

#9 was so special it should count for 2. Do you have his buzzer beaters?

Kobe hit a game-winner early in the 2001 season at Sacramento. It was a straight on three-pointer as time expired. I have it on a cd somewhere..

Are you talking about the game where Shaq fouls out, and Webber misses the potential game-winner?

I think it was just a two-pointer not a three that Kobe nailed, and there was still time on the clock but Webber missed. Are we talking about the same game?

It was a game-tying 3-point shot, more so than a "game-winner." And his OT performance put a dagger on the Kings for the rest of the game. It wasn't a game-winner because the Lakers were already on top in OT. Good memory though! Thanks for refreshing my memory.

Well, there you go!

Regarding #6 the game against the Kings, it was a game-tying shot not a game-winner to send it into OT. The Lakers then pretty much led the whole way in the final minutes, so it wasn't a game-winning shot.

But Kobe did make a game-winner in Sacramento though but it was a different game.

Jordan had at least 26 game winners. The ones shown there are when he was with the Bulls. I know he had a game winner against the Cavs when he played with Washington.

The most clutch play I believe he made was when he blocked Mercer in that Wiz/Bulls game. What a block!

Yes, Jordan had 3 game-winning shots while with the Washington Wizards.

- 2001 vs New York with 3.0 seconds left
- 2002 vs Cleveland buzzer-beater
- 2002 vs Suns jumper against Marion

So that brings Jordan's total to at least 29 game-winners he has hit.

Added one more against the Blazers where Kobe made the game-winning layup and the and-1, where Damon Stoudamire bricked the potential game-tying 3 pointer. Also his game-winning FTs last week against Charlotte.

So that's 21 for Kobe.

Jordan averaged 33 points in the playoffs on 48% shooting, a couple of those 50 points performance against the Knicks, and you can see where his clutch reputation come from(quite frankly, he was just good more than clutch, if you want to see clutch, Horry's performance last year against the Pistons qualifies, i.e. there has to be a certain amount of fear that you're not better than the other team).
