In a way I agree with u... I dont like the idea of havin a rebuilding process anytime soon... Older players seem to have more desire for the game anyway.

I dont care what we do.... as long as we KEEP winning and get number 4.
If veterans is what Phil wants, veterans he shall recieve.

2. KEEP Kobe
3. KEEP Phil

We NEED quality players. Whether old or young, fat or thin, wise or feeble minded, THEY JUST HAVE TO PUT THE BALL IN THE HOLE WITH REGUALRITY AND REBOUND ? DO THE LITTLE THINGS...I care not for how long, as long as they (each and every year we get them) provide RINGS!!!!

Concur. They will be living for the now, and veteran help is likely what will be the answer to win a ring next season.

Lets wait until after Phil hangs it up to bring in youth, because Phil won't play the youth anyway.

Say, when is BScott's contract in NJ up?
Call it from Heaven Chick.

No I disagree very strongly on this one. He wanted the "veteranism" to help win rings. As we got better for the now, other teams got ready for the long run. And as it always does, the long run caught the Lakers after 3 years. Now we will see youth, experience, and athletisism. We will see a very refurbished Laker squad next season.

I don't mind getting veteran players, as long as they are able to play and contribute. I don't want a repeat of a Mitch Richmond and a Tracy Murray who hardly contributed.
