So i just calculated it
If kobe played the same about of minutes as kareem... averages 25 PPG, and 35MPG, he can break 40,000 points

It is, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see several more 40+ point performances this season at least. He seems to have it on his mind(as evidenced by his shooting tonight)

Only 26 players have scored 7500 points, grabbed 1500 boards, and handed out 1500 assists after turning 30. Kobe should meet these marks by March's end.
