Wait a second, you are telling me you would rather have an overweight middle aged (32 next season) center with 40 extra pounds, dying toes, crumbling knees, demanding 40 mil a year, complacent, defensively lazy and ultimately out of shape and slow than a young, fast, completely all around talented, motivated even more, driven to excel and ultimately healthy and never getting injured Power Forward. And that is forgetting the fact that KG is a team player and would gladly defer to Kobe, would gladly take less than 40 mil, less than 30 mil and even less than 20 mil, and would gladly do everything in his power to learn the triangle and do as well as he possibly could for the team and that Shaq WILL (and already has) fight Kobe and Phil for shots and authority, DEMAND the most money available, get more and more out of shape and less and less skilled all around. I love Shaq, but there comes a time when a stock is going to tumble and you have to get out while it is still worth enough for you to rebuild a portfolio as strong or stronger than you had by getting an equal or close to equal stock that will either stay mature or even rise in value...ie KG....It is time to let go, we can sign KG as a free agent and trade Shaq to Atlanta for Terry, Muhammed, Ratliff and Robinson. Worthy deal for the Hawks and worthy deal for us...THERE IS A TRADE FOR SHAQ THAT EVERY TEAM IN THE NBA BESIDES MAYBE ORLANDO OR PHILADELPHIA WILL TAKE AND THAT WILL NOT BE THE CASE IF TEAMS SEE THE DIRECTION IN WHICH SHAWN KEMPERNEEZEE IS HEADED...THEN WE WON'T BE ABLE TO UNLOAD HIM FOR TWO DRAFT PICKS AND A BENCH PLAYER...
