My prediction was 25-3. I put it on my twitter @krgg0682 and i change my name down everygame. Were now at 22-3magicmamba8 if we can pull these numbers out i think the whole league trembles as we enter the playoffs so for now 22-3 lets go lakers

I think we go on a real run of 6-7 game win streak.

A better question would be how many games will they win against teams they're expected to lose against? Zero? That's not championship material.

At this rate, we'll get smoked by everyone from OKC to Denver.

Oh well, hopefully we'll figure it out soon enough.

Hoping to keep up the 2 wins out of every three games momentum. 14-7 the rest of the way takes us to 44 wins. Going to be a hard task though with the injuries our guys sustained last night. Back to back tonight.

13-8 the rest of the way, making them 43-39. Not sure that will get it done.

It's going to be close, and it will take a little luck as well. But of we get in, I'm not delusional in thinking that we can go all the way. We didn't just have a bad start. We're a poorly constructed team with a mediocre coach. In other words, we're legitimately a low seed team bound for a first round exit.

Do your projections look at wins/losses situations, or does it take in to account how we're winning and losing as well? I'd assume it's the latter.

That being said, does the projection consider recent play at all? Not that I think we're playing substantially better necessarily, but we've been winning, better, so to speak.

Optimistic projection but possible.

vs. Chicago
@Orlando
@ Atlanta
@Indiana

vs. Sacramento
@Phoenix
@Washington
@Golden State
@Minnesota
@Milwaukee
@Sacramento

vs. Dallas
vs. Memphis
@Clippers
vs. Hornets
@Portland
vs. Golden State
vs. San Antonio
vs. Houston

we have 10 games that I consider on the fence with a tencency to lose, especially the road games where we are weak, no ifs or buts. This team just isn't good on the road and has never been this season...assuming we win 4 of those 10 and at the same time blow 2 of the other "should win" games....thats another 8 losses that would produce a 43-39 record which is in line with your projection. Anything above 45 is not realistic and anything below 40 isn't realistic either.

Ideally, I would like to end up @ 45 wins. I think we beat Chicago and Orlando in these next two games. As for Atlanta & Indians, we need to split those two games.

It starts with a win total equal to last year's unless I know the team well. Then I use an efficiency stat to modify that number. It weights only wins and losses, adapting to weight current games more and more and previous games less and less. Also, I sometimes run another one based off Sagarin's numbers. Last I checked, Sagarin numbers, my projections, and Accuscore all agreed (at42).
