We are younger...

As of now (fowards):
Young: 4: (Cook, Walton, Sampson, Cisse)
Old 2: (Malone, Grant)

Where do you see older taking over the young?

old (4): malone/gp/grant/fox

Young: (11): Shaq, Kobe, George, Fisher, Pargo, Cook, Walton, Cisse, Sampson, Mevd, Rush...

Not to mention, Malone is in better shape than most people that are 40, and Payton is in his prime, or just starting to slope down from it...

Mad dog was THE man
"Sitting in the house, I'm loadin' up the pump. I'm loadin' up the Uzi. I got a couple M-16s, a couple 9s. I got a couple joints with some silencers on them. I'm just loading clips, a couple grenades. I got a missile launcher with a couple of missiles. I'm ready for war." - Kevin Garnett

To win a championship, you must have talent, heart, and experience... Lakers are loaded with that...

no!!!! they have a nice blend of young & old...kobe, cook, fisher, george, medivedenko, pargo, rush, walton, all still very young..... malone, payton, grant, fox, i guess you can say they are old.... shaq is a tweener..... i think it is a good balance....l. all they need is a three point shooter and mission accomplished....

i'd love to see a shooter sign with l.a. but there are only so many roster slots avaliable and dr buss ain't paying money for people to sit on the bench in expensive suits

The Lakers are in a good position this season and maybe next as far as the age of our starters, but my concern is that I plan on being a fan past that and then we're in trouble. I'm also worried that without anymore young legs Kobe will leave next year. But who knows what gonna happen now with him catchin this rape case.

Grant is a better bball player...even though he is old he brings experience...off rebound..blocks..can score and can teach B,Cook some stuff...he offers more and he can play both back up PF/C effecitely...MAdsen can hussle i'll give him tha but that is about it
