From Daily News:
If Gilbert Arenas wants to return home this summer for good, the Lakers might be able to facilitate the move. The Grant High of Van Nuys product, an emerging star with the Golden State Warriors, will be a free agent July 1.
The Lakers can offer Arenas the same $4.6 million exception that the Warriors are restricted to offering. The Denver Nuggets, who can offer much more, are believed to be his greatest suitor.
"I think he's terrific, I like him a lot," Jackson said. "I like him because he displays the kind of guard skills that fit in my type of offense, our offense, really well. I like that.
"He doesn't have to pound the ball all the time, and he will facilitate an offense. He doesn't have to be a playmaker and get all the assists. I think he's going to have a great offseason hunting a spot next year. And whatever happens, he's going to make some money in this sport."
