I'm going to guess....

Nash / Duhon
Morris / Meeks
Kobe / Ebanks or Clark
MWP / Jamison
Sacre / MWP

I think you could be right, though, I might flip morris and meeks only because morris got a dnp last game.

You can't do it, a coach deserves more time than that to at least prove himself. The franchise would look like a joke if they did that, some coaches would probably never want to come here after seeing it, and they'd be paying 2 coaches to NOT coach, ridiculous.

Yeap my mind is blown....why did we give him a 3 year deal? Why?

No seriously, how was this a rational decision? Someone who understands owning an NBA team & GM-ing better than me, please explain.

Wouldn't a one year + team option make so much more sense?

I am so tired of this guy. Run small ball, play no defense, force a team of old guys to run, and play Kobe 40+ minutes every game and burn him to the ground... remember the Golden State Warriors under Nellie? That's what this team is.

Next two games against SAS & OKC are another loss coming, make it 6th straight loss for the Lakers and we're gonna miss the playoffs.

MDA GTFO please ! :mad1:

This guy should fry.

But can we really justify firing a coach one year in after the way we let Mike go? Lakers management really got us in a jam here.

side note: i'll always remember waking up to the mda signing similarly to the day we signed shaq, the day we traded for pau, game 7 against the C's, etc.

yes cause Phil would've been able to come with a plan for these slow old bums out there on defense, MDA wasn't the right choice but there's no fixing this D.

This team is garbage. You don't know anything about basketball if you think magically replacing Brown, D'Antoni or any coach with Phil would cure this team.

And what's that based off of? Play style changes everything. Maybe they're not contenders, but they can win games. More games than they are now.

There was a reason why the Knicks team doing so much better once MDA gone right? why the Lakers still going after him was beyond me. :bang:

you just showed you don't know anything about basketball with that post

to say that phil wouldn't have been an improvement over dan tony is pure comedy

really thought he should have played ebanks. whos played more and started more than anyone else dantoni played. we needed his rebounding and athleticism aswell as his d obviously.

i thought it was stupid of dantoni to keep the guys he did out there so long. dantoni should have played ebanks and i hope he does against the spurs and okc. metta and ebanks on durant is WAY better than morris on him which he'll do stupidly.

why didnt jim get phil. so stupid

Forget Phil... I am sure there are other coaches out there ( not so big names ) that would've done just fine with this job, and used common sense when running an old team that's got excellent post players. Mike Brown didn't understand offense... D'Antoni doesn't understand defense. We just can't get catch a break.
