The faster offense really suits are team better than whatever the hell Mike Brown was trying to do. Once we start clicking defensively we'll really be a dominant force on both sides of the ball.

:jam2: I was just thinking the same thing! I actually really like Bernie as head coach. I like his post game talk especially. Glad he will still be on staff when he steps down.

its gunna tire them out come post season but i think once nash is back itll be much better for kobe in particular.

so far its just using the amazing talent we have and also getting our bench guys more involved. meeks is starting to round into what he should be and jamison getting more shots. morris playing with the starters will be good for him when he starts playing with the bench when nash is back

When MDA said that anything less than 115ppg would indicate something being wrong I thought that was a little exaggeration. Obviously not, we don't even have Nash running this!

Firing Mike Brown has helped this team two fold, one...its addition by subtraction he just sucked the life and joy out of this team. But in this transition period between Brown and MDA the team has grown closer together, they're self conducting themselves and Kobe has led the way. What is that 7 straight games with 6+ assists? hes bringing the ball up more now, pick and roll and the team find the open player based on that rotation, its like back to 2007/2008 basketball again when we were at our absolute best. No more just throw it in the post and rotate ever player in the post that was just too predictable. Today had that "It" feeling to it where you just knew Houston had no answer, haven't had this feeling since the first couple of months when Artest got here

Mike Brown literally had a choke hold on our players. Mike Brown should win defensive player of the year for locking up all our players

This stretch just proves how horrible Mike Brown was as a head coach.

On another note, who's exactly going to be on D'Antoni's staff? Do we actually know yet?

I really do hope McMillan comes over here or we bring on a guy (with credentials) to focus solely on defense.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

D'Antoni said he'll keep the old staff. Obviously, we also know he brought his brother.

He did say he'll try to bring on McMillan, but didn't sound really convinced that he'd come.

The old staff, his brother Dan and possibly Nate; MDA said he and Mitch would talk to Nate together.

Is Eddie Jordan gonna stick around? The guy should be let go. He has no purpose left on this team with his Princeton offense gone.

there it is nay sayers....this team CAN run, just not break neck speed like the OKC/Clipps of the world but we can pick and choose our spots to push it, mostly on long reb off a bad miss.

Isn't the Lakers run MDA s play now?
I mean tho MDA is not sidelined, MDA held some practices. Am I wrong?
