ok so that wasn't very poetic lol

Someone get this guy a creative writing class, stat!

I agree. Players taking personal responsibility would also be a plus.

Mitch Kupchak says Lakers 'not running on all cylinders'

When is jimmy going to say something? He said he would be more visible, yet he is not seen nor heard. As this building continues to collapse, he will have to come out at some point.

I feel bad for Mitch.

He really made all the right moves this offseason and it just didn't pan out. Coaching selection was a big part of that.

Slava laughed at the suggestion his skills might be affected by the down time. "Are you kidding?" he said. "Basketball is like ball. It's all a circle."

If you can't be a .500 team with 4 HoF'ers on your team you just flat out suck. Like seriously, that's not enough? We need more? We also need the greatest coach of all time otherwise we can't win regular season games? Such a joke

Yeah I mean this roster on paper looked flat-out scary before this season.

This easily is the most disappointing year in the history of our franchise.

This is a misrepresentation of the facts, though. Gasol isn't playing like a hall of famer. Dwight isn't quite playing the defense he usually does, making his impact on both ends of the floor severely limited. The two other hall of famers don't play defense, and no one else on the team does either. It's a loaded team, sure... if this were 2010 Gasol, Kobe cared to play acceptable defense, and Dwight were at 100%.

So is Phil going to change any of that? Probably not so people need to stop whining about passing on him already.

I can see us wanting Phil if we were a team that needed to get over the hump, a la late 90s Lakers. This team is just awful that has deep problems that must be solved so they can stop embarrassing themselves first.

No? Case in point, the New York Knicks in 2012.

18-24 under Mike D'Antoni.

18-6 under Mike Woodson.

2013? Looking like legitimate contenders.

Now, explain how making the right adjustments can't help a talented team get back on track.
