What... do I disagree with you all the time? Honestly, I haven't noticed. What do we usually disagree on?

here's my issue with what we didn't do at the trade deadline. (or even before)

if we would have done the bynum trade (and I wasn't necessarily for or against it), we would have saved $20M. meaning we're not over that threshold for a future team that is worth going over the threshold for.

additionally, saving that $20M would be huge. we could have used that money and bought a pick or two with those savings.

the okafor deal obviously wouldn't have saved as much but it's the front office's fault for waiting till this point to make a move (or try hard too).

Noone is selling picks under this new CBA where picks have their value inflated & the most you can offer for them is 3M, unless you're saying we should have bought 2nd rounders, which would be a waste of money.

Doc Brown wrote:No I wouldn't. After reading Mitch wants to re-sign Pau, we could have gave him away and I wouldn't care. We've lost out on 3 years worth of Pau's trade, I'd be mad at that, not them finally doing what they should have done awhile ago. He needs to go and if a 2nd round pick saves us from signing him for the next 3 years, I'll take it.

And on the flip side, if Mitch got Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen for Pau, Mitch would be praised. As he should. But he didn't, so he gets what he has coming to him for that.

See, originally I was with you Doc when I read that tweet about Mitch said that we could look to resign Pau. I freaked out and was upset by that. But then upon actually watching the interview and when that question and asnwer came up Mitch was just saying stating the obvious when answering the question. Of course we could resign Pau we have that in our power, but watching Mitch's answer I saw no indication that he wants to actually do that.
