Moving Forward: Two Steves Starting?

Moving Forward: Two Steves Starting?

Wondering what you guys would poll as our starting backcourt in the post season.

I think a strong case could be made for starting both Nash and Blake with Meeks coming off the bench and Morris getting a few energy minutes here and there. Blake is developing a nice rhythm and confidence as a starter. If Nash is able to start, I like the savvy factor of the two Steves on the floor together.

I think it really depends on who we're facing...if we face SAS 1st round I want Meeks in as starters he did very well tonight vs Danny Green, if we face a team like OKC that pressures the ball more than I'd start both Steves then we could use more ball handlers on the court

To finish the games hopefully we'll see Nash, Blake, Artest, Gasol, Howard

Depends on just how much MDA is willing to play Morris, Glock, and Duhon. Nash needs someone to back him up for 16 minutes. If you start both of them, Blake can only play so many of those minutes.

I don't know, I think I might feel more comfortable having one of them out there most of the time. That said, if we want to do anything of note in the playoffs we might just have to go all out and throw our best lineups out there to start games and get off to good starts.

One of Nash and Blake have to be out there at all times. So rotations will be different if Blake starts than if he backs up Nash and Meeks.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Nash/Blake -> Blake/Meeks -> Nash/Meeks -> Nash/Blake

That's how it's probably going to have to look if Nash ever gets back.
