Sure he's got some anger issues, but he's a decent man.

One of those days. He'll play better today.

while Ron certainly doesn't have star numbers right now, he was +19 last night. that just shows you numbers aren't everything. i applaud Ron for putting personal accolades aside and playing team ball :jam2:

Ron Artest has completely sacrificed all individual statistics in order to win. Ron could easily have near triple doubles each game but he does what is needed and has committed himself to be our defensive anchor.

Ron Artest has played a tremendous role in our dominance thus far this season.

Ron got completely jobbed tonight. That sucked. The worst thing is at least three of those fouls were Offensive - and that's how I feel watching the refs' garbage: offended! It was an offensive refereeing job tonight. On his birthday, too. Against Melo who he was doing a nice bit of work on.

Agreed. Due to his reputation, Ron doesn't get the benefit of the doubt, refs simply don't treat him fairly. That's one of the concerns when he has a mismatch (with a smaller player on him), because said player can simply flop and that'll be an offensive foul on Ron, both his strength/girth and reputation work against him.

was it the same official? i gotta tip my hat to Ron for keeping it together vs the Nugs. The officials just RAPED him. i'd have lost it 3 times over.

And why do the refs always seem to let Denver get away with mugging in the paint? It's just Denver, and I don't get it. I hear analysts say "It's the aggressive Denver defense....." and I wanna say, "No, it's Denver mugging (fouling) everybody in sight." Arrrrrrrrgh. I hate Denver. :mad1:

Certain officials just want Ron out of the league it seems. He needs to do some sort of PR campaign and send them ice cream cakes with a "I'm sorry" written in frosting on the top. Some of the fouls that he was called for last night were a complete joke. I'm really glad he kept his cool and didn't complain to the officials to make it worse even when he had every right to.

Great Ron Artest quote:

"I just threw my arm a little bit and they called offensive fouls," Artest said. "I wasn't even trying to be aggressive. I'm actually bigger than these guys, so they fall and they beg for mercy. These guys are begging for mercy, the officials are feeling sorry for them and that's not fair."
