I feel like Metta is actually playing better than last year. I am not saying he is really playing well, the stats do not back that up by any means, but I feel like he is playing better. Yeah, he is still jocking up some shots ... IDK maybe its just the last two games.

hes def been playing better but this season hes increased his offensive role on his own. hes doing "too much" and taking a lot of shots that should be dwights and paus imo. as long as kobe shoots this efficiently there will be more shots to go around and they should go to dwight and pau before metta

he needs to be shane battier for us, but with his new, in shape body he wants to do more with it

He'll have the same freedom with Antoni ... the good thing ? He will be benched just after he bricked three shots in a row

i've always maintained that if metta is hot, then this team is unstoppable

i wish his offensive numbers were the same as they were 10 years ago but if he can put up 15+ pts and 5+ rebs per game this team will be on a roll

hes gunna have to keep increasing his defensive intensity if hes gunna be doing this much on offense. no way we beat the clips if he doesnt shut down crawford...hes been unreal this year. think we should have ebanks guard him too and use his length. mwp and ebanks are gunna have to play defense first bc no way jamison and meeks can defend clips bench

Will our 115 points of offensive output have to depend on MWP shooting 10 threes a game and making half of them?

Was in the car about an hour ago listening to Ireland on the pre-game warmup show. He was talking about Metta how amazing he is looking these days. John's been around the league and the Lakers awhile now. Maybe some people won't agree but he was of the opinion he is playing the best ball he's played since about 10 years ago all aspects of his game considered. Whether true or not, the fact that he is playing his best ball as a Laker is huge for us now and needed for OKC and Miami especially. Go Metta!!!

3 consecutive good scoring nights for him.

When he shoots well, we often win. And he looks like he is in better shape this year...Jamison mentioned it before camp and I just passed it off as noise. But he really looks quicker and his stamina looks improved also.
We;ll see how he looks as the season moves along
