Raise your hand if you no longer cringe when he takes a spot-up 3.

Dantoni just said on the post game he told Metta he'll get 10 3s a game, he needs to hit 4 of them. I'm not sure I want Metta taking 10 3s a game....

Amazing game by Metta. Those defensive stops he had were flashbacks from his defensive player of the year days.

Right now, especially in the corners, I expect him to make every single one of them. Funnily enough, I feel better with Ron from 3 than Kobe from 3...and with that, I think I need to go to sleep.

if hes shooting this well i wouldnt mind him shooting 8 3's. the guy has wide open looks all game and within the flow of the offense so why not. if theyre giving it to him make them pay. im glad dantoni is supporting his players and letting them do what they can do to help to the team

He's right though. If he's not taking them...then the defense will keep cheating off him.

If he's making 4 of 10, I won't mind. I'll take Ron shooting 40% from 3.

Yeah i get the point. If Metta hits 40% from deep, we win the championship no question.

For sure. To his credit, he shot 44% from 3 tonight (4/90), which I believe puts him at 0.357 for the season, which isn't 0.400, but is still pretty nice.

That defensive possession he had on Joe Johnson late in the game was awesome, poked the ball into the backcourt, chased him there, hounded him all the way back to the 3 point line, just lucky they missed the open shot they got out of it.

you don't do that to a coach. Especially not to an angry coach late in a game. So disrespectful. Thats why chris paul reacted the way he did when gasol rubbed him on the head last year. Luckily johnson had class and didn't react in any way. I bet he was fuming on the inside. What if D'Antoni got rubbed on the head like that? I would be angry for him...

Yeah the little general was probably pissed there. Well his high pitched voice annoys me. :man10:

But I thought CP3 was over the top last year being pissed at Pau who really was doing it out of competitive affection for him just spur of moment kind of thing. Course CP's a dick on the court anyway.

I hate the fact that whenever he gets a rebound he always has to bring it up court instead of giving it to the PG

He has been much better on O these latest 3 games ... I will give him credit for one thing : he's the only Laker not named Kobe who isn't afraid of taking shots down the stretch

Dont worry, that will end when Nash is back. Ron just giving Kobe a rest on bringing the ball back up.

He's right. Wallace should be ashamed of himself. NBA better fine him for BOTH flops. Ridiculous.

HAHA gotta love that from MWP.

Forgot about those Gerald Wallace flops because Reggie Evans' flops were so awful.

Both guys should get fined. Period.

3rd quarter I believe. Right before Artest missed an open three (following a second consecutive Wallace flop) from the top left corner of the arc.

Dantoni at the presser said he want's MWP to shoot 10 threes a game because he's gonna get them, and make 4 of them easy.

In fantasy basketball land.....MWP's stock is going through the roof right about now.
