I love Ron Artest. I'm always in his corner because I really do think he brought intangibles to the team. And who can forget that Game 7 against the Celtics. He carried us to the ring. I'm loving his new attitude and conditioning. And let's hope that his back is indeed fixed, and that he put this money where his mouth is. :jam2:

If Ron puts together a solid season for us that could be what puts us over the top.. Nash & Jamison were major upgrades.. A little internal growth from Ron being in great shape all season & we're much deeper than most anticipate

Why would he need to lose weight? He already lost some.

He looks like Indiana Ron Artest in this pic.

I have high hopes for Ron this season. We really need a strong, bounce back season from him.

he looks years younger. looks way more in shape and lighter. i think he'll have a good year and show what he can do. he's been saying a lot of things this off season and i believe he'll back it up...especially with Nash passing him the ball.

should be way more athletic and quick on offense and defense this year. Even when he wasnt in shape he still played pretty decent defense...so it should be worlds better this season.

looks really good though..im happy for him that he got the back nerve thing all sorted out. bc you could tell he was really trying but his body wouldnt respond. we saw flashes during the end of the season (ex: harden elbow dunk / averaging 14ppg)...so i expect to see more of that next season (without the elbow of course)

Wow is that really a recent pic? He looks far slimmer than he did even towards the end of last year.

break out year? but ya I agree. if there's anyone who can make him better it'd be Nash. also now that's he's healthy I expect elite defense again and at least 10-13 ppg every night. hopefully his 3 ball is more consistent now that he has lift and I'm sure he'll have at least a couple layups a game thanks to Nash and his strength in the paint.

If Ron can be a defensive stopper next season this team will be so dominant.

this team needs a bench to be "so dominant".

he does look good physically, just need sub 35% from 3's and solid 45%+ from field overall, wouldn't mind it at all if he is our version of Battier or Bowen, would be limiting his offense to just corner 3's and spot up 3's but he can exert all his energy defensively instead.
