Ron's D has been amazing. He shut Joe Joe down. I don't think Joe made a single FG against him, at least that's what the Hawks announcers said. He made Durant work for every single shot. And he did a very good job against a much quicker Ariza.
But now that his offense game is starting to come to him, it just makes him so incredibly lethal. After he got off to a shaky start offensively, I didn't think it would magically start clicking for him so soon. It looked like a flip just switched in the Thunder game. His J was dead on and he started looking to attack.
That 3 he drained, followed by the timeout signal...loved it! He wouldn't have had the confidence to do that a couple games ago. And I'm looking forward to seeing what other celebratory moves Ron Ron has in store for us.
He's already fitting in much better than I thought he would at this point in the early season. If he keeps up this level of D, it will be a tragedy if he's not at least runner up for DPOY (behind Dwight).
