Yeah I was just thinking the same thing. Every time I think "dammit Metta!" he steals the ball or boxes someone out or blocks a shot or something like that and I think "oh yeah..."

If he played defense like he did tonight nobody would care if he goes 0/10...that impact he makes on defense would make his missed shots negligible.

I usually respect your opinions, but I just totally disagree with you. He's going to be vital to our team down the stretch. I'll put money on it.

It's cool .. can't agreed all the time ... I just think he's hurting our offense really bad right now and has for a while ( minus last April and decent playoffs) ... his head isn't into the game at all

He played hard tonight but was complete and utter trash on offense. He needs to limit the 3's and cut down on the dribbling. I'd like to see him closer to the basket every once in a while abusing the weaker forwards in the paint.

He is a very useful player, but needs to play under control. Do things he does well. Play defense, hustle, rebound. Take some open shots. That's about it. He should not be forcing anything.

The only thing is when he is off like he was last night, he really needs to stop forcing the dribble and shots so much. Otherwise, I can't really be upset with the guy. We will have plenty of scoring with our first team, and he will not be THAT bad anyway consistently. His defense is what makes him needed.

That was some PATHETIC basketball from MWP on the offensive end for 3 quarters of the game. Him and Blake clanking wide open 3's......ugly just ugly.

Kings reporter (to MWP): "18 points and 5 rebounds. What do you want me to call you tonight?"
MWP: "You can call me Ron".
He was definitely Ron tonight :jam2:

Metta looks like a scrub in one game, then has a "star shooter" performance in the next. I don't get it.

That's just Ron being Ron. Never know what you are going to get. But hopefully there is good D involved at least.

Some nights its for good reasons, others you want to pull your hair out, but Ron always provides entertainment.

I cant help but laugh watching him dribble since half the time he looks like its the first time he's ever touched a basketball. :man10:
