I really like and respect Nash, but... he's done. Please don't get hurt anymore, save your body, and retire.

He's slowly turning into one of those players that held on one year too late, instead of retiring when it was time.

It's really sad that he's not the same player anymore, what's worse is that he's now on our team. You know he's done when he doesn't even play in the closing minutes of a close game.

Something is definitely not right with him, maybe he's still injured, still remembered that a year ago before we traded for Nash, he was coming off an all-star season for Phoenix.

Yep. Never thought I'd see the day when Nash was essentially useless in his minutes on the floor. Sad.

Father Time remains unbeaten. Sigh... Maybe, Nash can regain something after a few months or after a third of the season. At his age, healing takes longer.

At this going rate, Steve Nash will soon run out of body parts that doesn’t ail him.

No, he’s hasn’t suffered last season’s nightmare yet when he missed a combined 32 games because of a fractured left leg and had ongoing issues with his hamstring and back. Nash still reminds himself that his rhythm feels good. He remains convinced the conversation surrounding the Lakers’ 91-85 loss Friday to the San Antonio Spurs at Staples Center would’ve shifted differently had he fared better than five points on one of eight shooting and five assists in 23 minutes.

But as another game goes by, so too, does another injury.

“The quad got bumped a bunch of times,” Nash said. “I was a bit limited.”

Dude just retire. This is beyond annoying. Every game something happens.

A bit limited?

Well, that's an understatement.

Watching him get beat on defense doesn't bother me, but missing 15 footers and wearing full warm-ups in crunch time makes me sad.

his last season in phoenix (11-12) he actually wasn't bad at all. yeah he had clearly lost a step but he averaged 12 points and 11 assists on the season

then he comes to LA and completely falls apart

It's always something; as others said/felt, retire, and give open us a roster spot, so we could potentially could sign somebody that could be useful.
