Not sure what bothers me more about the photo..... Nash's grizzly appearance or the fact that he's beating Marshall easily off the dribble...... :man10:

Did anybody hear Mark Willard this morning when talking about Nash...he said when dealing with Nash's condition there are two words you have to pay attention too; 'chronic' and nerves.' He said nothing Nash can do can fix his nerves from firing up again; then Willard asked him, 'what would you tell Nash?" or something like that; and Klapper told Willard basically he would tell Nash to retire. I'm paraphrasing, but it was definitely interesting...

duh......

we already know this. When Nash does play, which will probably be this upcoming Tuesday it will only be a matter of time before he breaks down again because of the nerve issues.

So I guess he's gonna come back just to try and play the number of games he needs of in order to not be eligible for medical retirement. You know, make sure he's stuck on the payroll and counts against the cap, stick it to us one last time.

You think Nash is purposefully trying to screw us over because he secretly hates the Lakers?

I'm joking, I'm bored. Nash IS screwing us if he comes back to play instead of medically retiring, but not on purpose, he's simply hanging on too long as athletes tend to do because he can't let go.

I'm really dreading what D'Antoni might do if Nash comes back - Marshall needs to play at least 30 minutes a night. At least.

You know what he is going to do. Fortunately, Nash won't be able to play more then 10-12 minutes.

I like this grizzly Nash, but lets just save him for next year. One last hurrah with fresh legs and a top draft pick :)

Unless, by "fresh legs", you mean futuristic prostheses and a brand new set of nerves in his back, then NO WAY.
The End is nigh. Time for a total Cut and Shuffle. Kobe contract was a mistake...time to avoid making more. The future is here, whether we want it to be or not. An era is over, but for the death rattle, and it's time for the cycle to begin anew. Growth and change are scary and painful, but alas...nothing worth achieving comes easily.

He should hang them up for medical reasons. This team is going nowhere. If he wants to "repay" the Lakers then make his contract more cap-friendly to the team. This is a lost season. Him trying t play out the string just adds insult to injury.

D'Antoni says Nash will play the first 6-8 minutes of the first half, rest and then do the same thing the 2nd half.

Also Farmar will probably be back for tomorrow's game since Nash will not play b2b games.

Potential starting lineup tonight will be Nash, Blake, Meeks, Kelly, Sacre

Nash starting again? Great, we'll finally get all those assists we've been lacking with Marshall... oh wait. Well we'll finally have some good defense at the 1 position... uh... oh. Uh, well we'll add the speed and athleticism we've lacked to make this offense go... hmm. Yeah I got nothin.

Seniority and playing due to your name and accomplishments is sometimes stupid in the NBA. 'Antoni and his decisions are often stupid. This does help with hen tanking though, so that's good I guess.
