He's got determination but as Mark Jackson so eloquently put it….. "Father Time is Undefeated"

Hanging on and going out this way tarnishes what was……

D'Antoni thinks he'll play 5-6 minutes per half.

He hits his 1st 5 shots and that goes up exponentially playing for Dan :man10:

I'd ask him to play 20 minutes. Have to earn that money, right? :man1:

Some great passing showed by Nash today, working and linking very well with Sacre

Eric Pincus ‏@EricPincus 1m
Steve Nash is relatively giddy at chance to play again - he did feel a tweak in his back/hamstring and isn't 100% for Sunday but optimistic

KEVIN DING ‏@KevinDing 2m
Nash said he felt a slight tweak in his hamstring, irritating the nerve enough to come out just in case late in the game.

Mike Trudell ‏@LakersReporter 1m
Nash said he tweaked something in the 4th Q, and thus didn't return to risk further injury. May end up missing a game, but feels OK overall.

Lol another "tweak", what a joke. And of course supposed to play 10-12 minutes total turned into 19 minutes, 'Antoni cannot help himself.

Did he really? Is this guy just the ultimate p**** or what? What's his deal? Why is he borderline moronic? Referring to MDA.

So ... 11 assists in 19 minutes for an ancient over-the-hill PG who should retire.

Does that say anything about Marshall? Maybe his numbers (and even his stats as of late haven't been that great) aren't that impressive after all and might be more of a product of the system than we thought.

Or that we're talking about one if the best PG in history, who's passing would probably be the last thing to degrade.

Have other PGs passing numbers looked similar to Nash or Marshall while Pringles was in NY or Phoenix? No? Then that should tell you something.

You're talking about one of the greatest passing PGs to ever play the game here. His passing is going to be crisp even when he's 50.

I read somewhere Nash is 20-some assists away from being 3rd all time.

Who thinks he is playing to get that record? Maybe that explains him suiting it up all of a sudden? Hopefully he squeaks it out this season and can retire with some sense of accomplishment. Then GTFO of our books for next season :man1:

Didn't he say that if he was traded or we use the stretch exception he would retire? I don't think it's possible to trade him unless you're taking on a horrible contract but I think it's highly probable that he's trying to get to #3 on the all time assists list before this season is over incase we use the stretch exception on him & he retires.

It should only take him 3 games to get 20 assists if he really tries. That number is trivial, even for a 40-year old Nash.

Even if Nash can't play next year he'll still be easier to move than Gasol ! If he doesn't retire, I hope we can land someone to take us to the next level like we did with Kwarme expiring.
Offseason's finished for my long sleeping nights. NBA is back !!

^^^Zing! Haha...

Forget Shady Pines, when Steve Nash retires ... he'll be in the lap of luxury -- 'cause the L.A. Lakers star just dropped $4.8 million on a Manhattan Beach pad ... TMZ Sports has learned.

Our real estate sources tell us ... Nash had been on the hunt for a permanent home on the West Coast -- somewhere he could settle down after his NBA career. Then he found a 4,175 square foot gem just 2 blocks from the sand.

Problem is ... it's super ugly and outdated.

Solution is ... we're told Nash is gonna knock the whole thing down and build his dream house.

We're told the place was originally listed for $5 million ... but Nash was able to get the price down to $4.8 mil with an all-cash offer. Strong.

Sources tell us Nash already has a builder in mind and wants to get to work ASAP.

i've never seen anything like this in the NBA or any other sport to be honest

this is flat out ridiculous. just shut this loser down already. it's been the same thing all season long, he misses 3-4 weeks, comes back for a game, and gets hurt again

my god, d'antoni and the FO are bigger morons than i would have ever thought. these people seriously have no clue what they are doing
