+1. I really, truly thought that Nash was going to be Brown-proof. Then came the preseason. And then came this game. It's just sad and embarrassing. And it's not right. You don't bring in one of the greatest point guards who ever played and reduce him to Fisher level Point Guard play. It's horrible.
Agreed. Quite frankly, I thought a lot of the Brown criticism was unfair last year; after seeing this debacle on both offense & defense, he'll out of a job in no time. Nash needs the keys to drive this car; Brown says he gives him the keys to run pick & roll anytime he wants, but it is not what I'm witnessing when he's playing.
I see a PG out there who isn't being utilized correctly and as I said in another thread a couple of days ago is being relegated to a spot-up shooter. Are you kidding me? Then people will counter with,"well they need something to fall back on, or," we had the triangle and ran Kobe-iso, Kobe-Gasol P&R," and even though that's accurate that's because we Phil didn't use the PG in a traditional sense ever. So, that point is moot
We now have a floor general who can mange, direct, and run an effecient offense to create easy opportunties for himself and others on the floor.
