He took 13 shots.

12 of them were 3s. He made 5 of those.

He went 5-13. Hm.

I'll take that. A person shooting 50% from 2s woud've made 6 or 7 (we'll say 7) and that would've been 14 points. He made five 3 pointers, which is 15. The kid can shoot. Needs to shoot more.

I'm totally down with him shooting I was mostly pointing out that he took a lot of shots and almost all of them were from long range.

I don't think he should be shooting 12 of them though. I'd be more comfortable if it was in the 8-10 range. I think he and Metta took a lot of shots away from Howard and they weren't hitting well enough to justify it.

Yeah, he should mix it up. Too predictable with him just shooting 3s. If he becomes a threat to put the ball on the floor and hit a mid-range or take it in strong, he's gonna be that much better. Us too.

The few times he gone inside, he went in too deep among the trees in there and got blocked a couple of times. He need to develop a floater. People now knows he can shoot the 3, so they will be running at him, perfect time to run in and float one in.

For sure. His confidence level is pretty crazy right now. I love this kid's attitude. If he could just pump fake, step in for the two every now and then teams are going to go nuts.

we needed a shooter, we have a shooter. he can work on other areas of his game if he wants, but as long as he's making those open 3's...i'm a happy camper.
