What a strange season. He was doing so well. This should bring the price down slightly.

So.... we gonna be able to field a team soon? Crazy.

INJURY UPDATE: #SwaggyP's MRI showed a non-displaced fracture of the patella & a bone bruise. He will be out a minimum of two weeks.

Bad news: Swaggy P is hurt.

Good news: Moving up the draft order. Swaggy P's stock drops a little bit, so we can resign him next year.

Not only is this the worst season I've ever watched as a Lakers fan, it's the strangest, particularly when it comes to injuries.

We really gotta bank on getting a good draft pick. :man10:

:disagree: This season is ridiculous. We now have 4 PG's, no SG's, 1 SF, 2 PF's, 2 C's, I feel bad for the guys that have to still go out on the court and try and compete with what we have available, because we aren't hitting 18 threes again anytime soon.

Shawne Williams? I liked the guy, but I still don't get why you wouldn't sign Manny for the rest of the season, he was more consistent than Shawne.

pau can still potentially get traded and they might need an extra roster spot

Money probably. Keeping guys rotating on 10 day contracts is probably cheaper than giving a contract for the rest of the season.

plus Williams is a big body
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

My guess is that he's done for the year. That isn't a 2-week injury...... or even a month.

I mean if Henry has been out for more than a month and all he had was a bone bruise imagine how long Nick will be when he has a bone burise AND a fracture of the patella.

Let the tanking continue.

He's going to be out a minimum of 4-5 weeks.

Now we'll see how our scoring looks like without Swag. I'm curious.

We would need LeBron James to opt out, and come over here(not going to happen), and we would need the top 2 picks in the 2014 draft(Joel Embiid and Dante Exum) to be back to title contention for next year. I'd love to trade the whole team(minus Kobe) for Milwaukee's 2014 pick! :man10:
