I want a young athletic SF, but someone that can play d and shoot.

Yet we only have the Vet Min.

C'mon now, it's not like this team is going to play any defense anyways.

We've all seen how much the new CBA has hurt high-spending teams like the Lakers, but thankfully, guys like Nick Young even considering playing for the minimum is the beneficial side of the new CBA at work. Before that, dime-a-dozen specialty wing players were signing for at least $4-5 million per year and that's where the spending was out of control. It's much more reigned in now with the current rules in place.

I would never take anything he says remotely valid but given how bad things are, I'll pretend like this could actually happen.

Please, Nick. DO IT

Hell yes to Young. A scorer who can create his own shot is something we desperately need.

For the vet min? ABSOLUTELY. Don't even think twice. Come HOME Nick! You know you love LA and you'll definitely get PT with the glaring holes at SF and back up SG (and Kobe being out for a while).

Young is a baller
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

Yes to Nick Young! Acquire him, and things start to get real interesting. Nash, Kobe, Blake and Farmar will spoon feed this guy highlight reel plays like the Shannon Brown days.
