I guess tweeting him worked. He tweeted the other day asking "What should I do?" I saw nothing but "Come home to Cali and sign with the Lakers." replies. :man12:

Hell yeah, love this pickup. Finally a guy that can back up Kobe and spare him from playing too many minutes. Or he can even play the 3 with Kobe at the 2, or Kobe at the 3, Young at the 3. I'm really starting to like the 2013/14 Lakers, we may not be close to a title team, but it's a team I feel good about cheering for.

Hell yes! I just heard this news on am 710. I yelled so loud that the lady in the car next to me got scared and swerved out of her lane. Woooooooo! Three very solid signings so far this off-season. Cmon Odom!

And to think you questioned Mitch.

really big signing to me. sure his game has flaws, but he's worth way more than the minimum, and the lakers really needed a scoring guard with kobe likely being on the mend for some time. also big to see that the lakers brand hasn't suffered as much as the fans/media had hoped.

I remember Nick talked about wanting to be drafted by the Lakers around Draft time. It didn't happen but now, he got his wish. Welcome home, Nick.

Yep. No excuses for MDA playing Kobe ridiculous minutes this season. We're fighting for nothing and have added another backup for him, only this one is actually deserving of PT.

First Kaman, then Jordan (pending), and now Nick Young... The Lakers are working REALLY hard to bring in people that will create more value for the brand. It's fantastic. Mitch is really working some magic.

We're not going to be a great team, but we're going to make some noise if we have ANY health at all.

Lakers do this and next season will be such a pleasure to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if we won 50 games.

they may not win as much. Or be even title contenders anymore. But I bet this upcoming season will be more exciting to watch then last season. And I believe this team will have great team chemistry. If Odom gets signed, that will be a gurantee

Aren't farmar and young good friends. That's gonna be an exciting backcourt off the bench.

Now trade Blake, Meeks and whoever else and get some wings in here

They're valley boys, I believe Farmar helped young study to get into college
