First Detroit, now Orlando. Guards are getting paid for no damn reason. I don't think it's the exception, I think it's the trend for this summer.
Well so far it is sure, but there's time left. We'll see what happens once Carmelo makes his move. In a weird way I think LeBron is waiting for that although I'm not sure what his next move is beyond that. Their two biggest free agent targets have moved on, so what's their move now?
Lebron is on vacation and isn't taking any meetings. I have a feeling he's already agreed in principle with Miami and is just waiting to make sure Riley doesn't totally crap the bed with the cap space allotted him.
I'm thinking he's waiting for Carmelo to fall so that the other free agents can start making their plays. I think if Carmelo stays in New York or goes to Chicago, the Lakers have their offers in place to other free agents. That means dominoes start falling and you see what Miami is left with in terms of free agents to add.
The Big 3 will take whatever is left of the cap space after LeBron gets his max deal and the Heat sign their free agent. Illegal? Sure, but who's looking?
