Infinitely better than Meeks and we are thin at the spot and need scoring off the bench.

Come on down

I make jokes about him being one of the most trigger happy role players Ive ever seen, but Id absolutely take him.

If he's not curing cancer, I don't want him. Wait...this is basketball. OF COURSE we want him for the minimum.

For those saying you don't want him...wth are you guys smoking??

Considering our current situation, he might be our biggest pick up this off season. Sure he's a poor mans JR Smith, but we haven't had that kind of offensive punch off the bench since '08 Sasha. And for the vets min? No brainer low risk high reward signing.

Eric Pincus ‏@EricPincus 22m
I get asked this a lot - I haven't heard anything concrete on Nick Young to Lakers - just a little buzz - waiting still on Farmar and MWP

Eric Pincus ‏@EricPincus 22m
Could Young come to the Lakers for the min? I doubt it if he's getting offered more elsewhere - if $ is close I would guess LA but iffy

Eric Pincus isn't really someone you trust with sources or anything, he mostly shares his opinion on people's ideas.

The best wing left that we could get with the minimum.. I'll be really excited if we're able to get Young. Then we won't have to worry about keeping MWP, or signing Captain Jack just to have a legit NBA starter that has done it before.. & can fill the bench with young guys like CDR & McGuire.. I love it.

Farmar and Young off the bench would give us that change of pace play that we haven't seen from the fossils we've been collecting over the years.

Love it!!! A Nick Young is sorely needed, and he is a player that could fit into the mold of the team in the future.

We need Doc Brown to forward all Laker fans to NEXT summer. 2013-14 season is going to be one of the most wasted seasons in Laker history.

Arash Markazi ‏@ArashMarkazi 3h
Nick Young was wearing a Lakers throwback two weeks ago. Maybe he'll get his own Lakers jersey soon. http://instagram.com/p/a7LtwJuGF8/

Arash Markazi ‏@ArashMarkazi 2h
I'd bet Nick Young would take a hometown discount to play for the Lakers next season. How much of a discount? Depends on the market for him.

Arash Markazi ‏@ArashMarkazi 2h
Nick Young can play the 3 and fits there better in D'Antoni's system for those saying Lakers don't need more guards

To be fair, isn't Arash Markazi (the only guy saying we have a shot at Young) pretty much the same way?

Nick Young is a Laker!

Nick Young to the Lakers, per agent Mark Bartelstein.

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine 1m
Speaking @NickSwagyPYoung, Bartelstein calls Lakers "team he always dreamed of playing for"

Great pickup for the minimum. We really needed a punch from the perimeter, especially if there's a chance of Kobe missing any time and with the MWP situation up in the air.
