Ebanks has been awesome in camp, not just on D but creating and hitting his own shots, even when he plays on the pink (third) team. ...

Kobe rated Ebanks' offensive skill set as better than Ariza's. RT @KyleStack: @KevinDing Fair to say he could do lot of what Ariza did/does?

Doberman wrote:Wow! So excited for this kid. This would've never happened under Phil. He'd stick to his vets no matter what. In fact if Phil were still coach, Ron Artest (MWP) would most likely be starting. Here's to hoping Ebanks makes the most of his opportunity.

We need a nickname for the kid.

Weezy wrote:I hope the kid does well I really do, rooting for him big-time. I like seeing this sort of thing though, you play hard and earn a spot you get it. Loved Phil and you cannot argue with his results, but for a change it is nice to see a sophomore player earn a starting spot based on his play, not tossed to the bench just because he's younger and somebody else has been in the league longer. If he earned the spot he earned the spot. Obviously he is young though and he's not expected to be a star, but I think he could be a very solid starter for us, hope it works out.
