OFFICIAL STAPLES - TICKETS TALK

Re: Real or Fake Lakers Tickets?

if that is the case I suggest going to Ticket Master, Stub Hub or Razor Gator. In any sense we on this board get these types of post from random "fans" every other month.
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

I understand spammers and what not and people trying to sell their tickets illegitimately. I guess I thought people would catch on to the LakersGan_GF <<(Meaning the true fan's girlfriend... but I've been transformed into a Lakers fan myself!) Thanks for the input but these are definitely the best I could fine... I've been looking for the past two weeks and the birth date is coming up so I'm out of time. Stub hub minimum went for about $340 total and Ticketmaster was out. I haven't tried Razor Gator so I'll check that out. Thanks a BUNCH!

Look around and you will find much better deals! Try Ebay, Craigslist, barrystickets.com and viptickets.com. FYI, prices always drop as the game nears, but I suppose you need tickets in hand soon as a present. If that's the case, then your options will be more limited...still, look as there are tons of better deals out there!

I found tickets on Razor Gator for $246! Not crazy inexpensive but a bit lower which is good none the less. Would you happen to know how much razorgator charges as a service fee? I know 2day shipping is a must and that'll be a good $14 and as long as the service fee doesn't exceed $25 then it won't go over the amount I'd be paying for these tickets in hand. Just my luck!

Oh nevermind, they just about exceed a couple bucks. I'll keep my search going for the next day if not I guess I'll be getting those tickets... I'll definitely plan a little but more ahead for better seats and prices next time. I really appreciate your help of suggestions and sites!

Consider yourself very lucky. I had two friends who got scammed outright from Craigslist. It wasn't a pair of Lakers tickets, but it was roughly the same amount for a gift card to an uber-awesome spa treatment that one of them bought as a gift for the two of them. She even met the Craigslist guy AND got the receipt from him.

So my friends use it at the Spa, and guess what? "STOLEN ITEM" rang up and they almost get arrested!!! Apparently, the guy from Craigslist had STOLEN it from someone's car, and the person who lost it had called the spa and reported it stolen. My friends were both in straight tears, but at least everyone figured out what had happened.

I never, EVER deal with CROOKSLIST. Even if you sell, you get spammed up the wazoo, so there is just no point in it anymore.

Was anyone able to get Playoff tickets during the Presales? I tried the American Express one 2 days ago and had absolutely no luck.

I also tried the Lakers Supporters Presale and had lots of luck! Immediately found 2 PR9 seats. The total came out to $454+. It was too much for me to pay for a 1st round game, so I passed on them.

Then I found a bunch of great single tickets in the lettered rows behind the basket. The single best ticket I found was section 118, row 5 seat 5 (behind the bench). That would have totaled around $330, so I passed.
A bit later, I tried searching for tickets in pairs again and found a pair in the 300s for $65 each. I ended up getting those.

If you’re looking for good single tix, there are still some as of 1pm today. Good Luck!

I'm in LA for the week and I would like to go to the Lakers/Spurs game tomorrow afternoon. Will I be able to easily buy tickets outside the stadium from scalpers? Thanks.

There will be TONS of scalpers outside Staples. Regardles of the game, they will ask for ridiculous amounts, hoping to catch a fresh fish. It is your job to haggle and bring some senses to these people. Lowballing is fine and walking away works best (they will chase you down and will become more realistic with prices if they know you're willing to walk).

Being Easter and the Lakers having locked up home court in the West, supply seem to outweight demand. Look on craigslist. There are some great seats on there now at or near face value. Prices will continue to drop.

Educate yourself online as to what the prices are and use that knowledge to deal with the scalpers. The closer to game time, the cheaper they get, so have patience and faith.
