it is BACK! The Whine, Moan, Complain Thread for Club Lakers. As stated in the preseason WMC this thread is and was designed for one purpose and one purpose only..... To COMPLAIN. Yup, you can be as irrational as you wish, have your moments of anger toward anything Lakers. Kobe’s new haircut bother you... complain here. LO leaving and looking good on the Mav’s? Complain in NBA Discussion he isn’t on our team. Pau didn’t dunk, Drew did dunk but looked like Kwame doing it, Fisher spoke and y ou hate he speaks so well or Mike Brown used the word execute more than Kobe and it drives you mad..... Complain here!
The rules of the game are simple. 1)Whine- say what you wish (within rules of the board) about what is going on or what you think of the Lakers. 2) Moan- Vent your frustrations about the players, the front office, the Hollywood-style fans and 3) Complain- Let it all out no matter who it is...Luke (he is a good target for most of you), Fisher, Kobe, Pau, Drew, Brown, Metta, Blake, Kopono and so on and so on..... Give it your best. HOWEVER, don’t expect not to be called out on occasion in this thread for your irrational, overreaction and stupidity of the heat of the moment. It happens. Everyone got it? Good! Let the WMC for the 2011/2012 Season begin.............................................

First the GAMEDAY BUMP:
Yes my dear friends it is that time of year again. The time of year when the snow is falling (in some places), fire places are a flutter with flaming logs with families huddled around it and the holiday spirit upon most of the people around the world. Children are waking up all around the world and running to the rip apart presents. However, for some the presents don’t begin until 1400 (2pm for some of you) today. That is when the ball finally goes up for our newest version of the Los Angeles Lakers. With a new coach, new players, one player who can’t play for four games and an all new what the hell did they say Kobe has now injury that the Mamba will play through this season promises to be full of adventure. Let us not forget the amazing thing that happened with the Clippers becoming number one in LA. Wait! They haven’t played a single game, not won anything and just have 8 floppers and 2 of them dunk real well? Well, damn, my bad..... Moving on. The Lakers look to rebound from a horrible postseason and show what some call the “middle finger” to the power of Stern. It is GAME DAY baby.

Today, we open the season against one of the suitors of Kobe back in the day the Chicago Bulls. The questions for this game are many. How will Kobe handle yet another injury to his shooting hand? How will Mike Brown manage a team that has won 2 Championship and just came from under the greatest coach to coach a NBA team P-Jax? How will Pau fair at Center for the game Drew is suspended? How will the new guys perform? Will we see the defensive presence of Metta and Blake that we hoped we would get when we signed them? Will Blake prove all the haters wrong and show up this year? Will Kopono show us what actually having a 3 point specialist looks like? Will the fans care enough about this season after the disappointment of CP3, D-Howard and the LO trade? Will the Lakers be able to stop D-Rose and the high charging Bulls? Will ESPN call us a lottery team if we don't win? All these questions and more will be answered because...................

let me just be the first to say this for all the bad moments: #$#%#@%^$#!!!!!

but i'm lookin forward to a great season, a season of change it appears, and hopefully another title run!!!

I'm totally pumped up.

Even if the Lakers are worse (without Bynum and Odom), I have no doubt they won't be as complacent as they were in the last few years...new coach, new players and a lot of uncertainty. I have a feeling Kobe will try to get them going at the beginning of this campaign to set the tone early.

I think we will play well, win or lose doesn't really matter since its the first game. But it would be nice if we came out gunning this year, seems like every expert considers us too weak and too old to do anything in the post season...

I had forgotten how much I missed puffy's intros.

I'm excited. Win or lose, we get to watch some Laker basketball today. I hope they come out fired up though, they have a lot to prove.

My first complaint is that I am working during a large portion of the game.

How many NBA fans in the entire world wanted to watch Justin Bieber singe Little Drummer Boy? I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of zero?

This might very well be the dumbest Laker team yet...

they absolutely giftwrapped the game...and sadly, the veterans sucked.

Encouraged by the effort, baffled at the stupidity.

Choked the game away from free throws and turnovers (Kobe).

We actually played a good game outside of the last 4 mins or so. Blake should be starting, Ron should't see any time, Ebanks/Troy/Glock/Mcroberts looks good.

Going back to last season, we're on a 7 game losing streak.

How do you like them apples?

McRobert was not a solid FT shooter so i can know why he missed both, but not PAU "freaking" Gasol choked off both !

i was surprised by our WHITE guys... but man PAU.. really????

plus.. where's the ball movement???? give it to kobe and watch mode is in FULL EFFECT

Not too worried about this one because the Bulls are a good team and we gave it away with some stupid mistakes.However, we need to hit our free throws especially down the stretch.

Only thing I want to say is that World Peace needs to be on the pine and Fish should not be starting. Otherwise, solid effort!

My WMC, FAKE FANS who only show up to CL when the Lakers lose causing the servers to crash. Seriously, GTFO.

Also, free throws.

Last minute Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest.

Still, better than i thought. McRoberts bada$$ with that rebound.

My WMC in no particular order....

1.) Turnovers
2.) Free Throws
3.) Ebanks only playing 23 minutes and Bluke getting 25 minutes.
4.) Morris on the inactive list
5.) Fish playing more minutes then he should.
6.) Matt Barnes not getting any run, WTF.
7.) Goudelock not getting more run
8.) Kobe not taking the pull up J instead of driving
9.) Playing players based on past performance rather than current skill.
