I'm pretty sure it was a shot at MDA more than anything

It is true though, mike pulls him quick instead of letting him get comfortable, even when we does make consecutive good plays.

If anyone here watches Top Chef, Pau is like this season's Josie..

It's sad that MDA is no idea on how to use Pau.

Agreed that MDA doesn't really allow his players to get "comfortable" on the court. If someone plays like s*** for 3 minutes (Jamison, Meeks, Pau), they get yanked. Never really building a rhythm. And then when they do get back into the game, they have to play with their back against the wall.

That being said, WTF PAU GASOL. Not cool bro, not cool. MDA is incompetent, but you were just as sh***y with Brown a year ago.

Dude clearly is still heart broken over losing Phil. So is Los Angeles but we're making do. After all "coaching" is "coaching". Some coaches just know how to handle the D better.......... (That was a joke)

Ohh sh** Pau is back...now we are in deep trouble. I hope MDA will give him only a few minuted in this game bc he can really hurt the team with his D and lack of everything......

Well can we all agree Pau is garbage now? He looks like he doesnt even belong on the court against any elite team. Some of the most pathetic defense ive seen.

Guy protects the paint as well as a fat kid runs a 1/4 mile.

i dunno, pau did enough for me off the bench today. although, my expectations for him have been lowered considerably.

Pau was ok. The laker guards couldn't get him the ball.

Has been for a while. This loss wasn't on Pau. Sorry. Rip him for some of his d, sure, but you better give him some credit for his offense. You have to look at both sides. I get sick of only the bashing. Especially in a game like this one where Kobe's shooting was abysmal for three quarters, the team could not collectively get a stop down the stretch, nor execute in that time. It was a close game. The refs completely jobbed us. And they have more chemistry than us and are the champs currently. We did pretty well. Pau played better than I expected him to honestly given that he's been out for a while.

I loved Pau today. He was active and he attacked which is what I want from him. He got hosed on some calls but he still looked pretty good. Lets see if he can bring that same energy next game. For me, nice job Pau.

Really is so bad on D. atrocious really. But his offense today was just fine so I wont yell at him much. He still needs to go hopefully after a stretch of good play so he gets some trade value.

people complaining about his D? what do you want the guy to do when he has lbj coming full steam at him?

lbj is the most unstoppable force in the league, and was a beast tonight.

He should come off the bench. He couldn't kill the Heat, but he'll kill a lot of other teams.

I liked him in the 1st half, but the second half proved why we can't play him with Dwight. He clogs up the paint too much and doesn't allow for dribble penetration. We need to either sit him down at the end of games for Clark or trade him for pieces, he's still a great player but a terrible fit for this team and this system.

Gasol is still lackadaisical out there. I'm not seeing full effort. He still gets pushed aroind too easily.

I really think he should come off the bench and anchor our 2nd unit. Him and Howard just don't work together. Howard needs the paint to be clear for him to be most effective.

then i put it on mike d for leaving him out there when all miami did was put shooters out there. and on the flip side, we don't take advantage of our size in the post on offense.

pau sucks somebody needs to concuss him again and get him out of here
