This. Looks to me like he was just working on getting his touch back. It's better to practice layups than dunks anyway. A dunk is always a dunk. There's not a ton of skill to it. It takes skill to maneuver around a man and around the rim for a layup from the post.

No, but it would be a good game for Pau to give it a try. Those guys are OK, but they are not Gasol & Dwight.

I hope Pau joining the team doesn't screw up what we have going like when Amare came back to the Knicks and they started struggling. I really disagree with D'Antoni wanting to start the game with Pau and Dwight, Pau cant space the floor and neither is a mobile player/ball handler. Lots of turnovers early in the season was because Pau wouldn't be able to handle the ball pressure in the perimeter and he'd throw it away or hang on to it too long. He is a great passer but hes not a great ball handler. We did well in January before he went down because he was coming off the bench

Pau and the team will do fine, because Gasol is not a chucker. He's not the type that says: "Gimme the ball, I want to shoot!" He can only help, because, as Dwight's backup at the 5 -- he is certainly better then Jamison. And Jamison can slide back to the 4, where he belongs.

I hope they dont spend too much time on the floor together, but we made a Pau-Bynum starting lineup work, I see no difference here. The key is if Pau was healthy or not, the Pau we saw this season isnt what were used to. If his tendinitis has gone away, and he has no more restrictions, he should be a lot more mobile. I think if he comes back strong, we will have a very dominant defense. As long as we keep getting back on defense, which is all about effort.

Keep in mind, we haven't really seen "new" Dwight with Pau. Maybe the added health and enthusiasm will make an impact on their 2 man game.

Stop. Kobe is out or considerably limited physically for awhile. Pau has been dying to play, I'm sure, and watching up close and personal the great "chemistry" transformation in the locker room with Dwight, Kobe and the team. HE is a tremendously skilled big man coming back to our lineup, who is very unselfish and even though he isn't prime, young Pau..... he will still be a huge plus for us. Pau knows how to play the game and he is NOT going to be a problem.

Relax. Stop worrying about this particular issue.

NOOOOO. Damn it!!! He just deoesn't heal quickly. Period. I still say we should have traded him for depth and a TPE back in November.

We can still beat Sac Town w/o Pau or Kobe. I'd rather wait until Pau is healthy enough to have some lift. He's so much better when he can jump.

I think he'll be able to play fine, he'll just be really sore the next day. Might as well push it & come back now. With Cousins out, Sac is an easy game for Pau & Dwight to dominate.
