That must have been taken out of context. He can't have straight up called himself a beast :man10:

I know, seriously :man10: I don't think Pau has ever talked smack about himself and is game in his life before. This came out of left field and beyond to me. I wish there was a video of him saying this and then we could tell for sure judging by his mannerisms

I pictured him as a kid who was told a slang word means something it doesn't.

Kobe: "Damn, I'm a beast son. Don't F with me!"
Pau: " What is beast?"
Kobe:"Uh... A beast is someone who uh... Knows how to speak Spanish."
Pau:" Oh! Then I am a huge beast!"
Kobe:" Yeah man... Uh. Totally."
Stu : "Yeah, that's an old fashioned whoopin'."

If Pau is a beast, the Manimal (Kenneth Faried) must be a freak of nature. :man11:

Kobe's been all kumbaya ever since the Olympics, hope he's this way during the season.
In the real world, the day Steph awoke at 9 a.m. to begin his Ustream show, Kobe Bryant probably awoke at the same time, even if it was 6 a.m. in California, and lifted weights.

Congrats to Pau for an amazing honor of carrying Spains flag. Proud of the Lakers!
For what it's worth, the Lakers also clinched the Pacific Division, an achievement Bryant dismissed by saying "We don't hang divisions." No, only the big NBA championship banners are considered wall-worthy for the Lakers.

The first time I uploaded it I put the whole Spain segment and it was immediately blocked worldwide by the IOC even before it finished processing. Then I just put the parts Pau was in and it's fine... for now.

 Absolutely incredible performance today. He outplayed Team USA in the 3rd by himself. If he can bring that back to LA, he's really going to have one hell of a year, especially with Nash making his life easier.

I felt like Spain's coach pulled a Mike Brown today. Should have left Pau in to start the 4th cause he was on fire. Get him a break a few minutes into the 4th, instead. Not to mention Marc was forced to sit most of the 2nd half because he waiting until he picked up 4 fouls to pull him from the game in the 1st half.

^^^^ Spain coach screwed by both letting Marc on the floor after picking his 3rd foul ... which resulted in him getting his 4th ... and by playing Reyes at the start of the 4th

Great performance by Pau. Kinda feel bad for him. Losing to the same team in back to back Olympics. That's gotta sting.
