If he takes a cheap contract with short years (no more than 2) while accepting a lesser role, then I'd consider that "moving on". Vince Carter did it with the Mavs. I can't see why Pau can't do it if he's up to it.
Unfortunately, I've heard nothing from Pau that indicates that he acknowledges his decline as a player. So I'm not optimistic.
That's the thing ... He still wants a key role on his team ...
He's a 15-20 min player on a contender ... something our team isn't and probably won't be for quite some time
Pau is in denial.
He´s on a PR mission now that he´s back in Spain, "i would love to play for this team, that team, i want to play for a contender bla bla bla", free agency is going to be a reality check for him.
He recently said he would love to play with Memphis, his reasons were that he loves the city, it´s a good team, his brother is there and would love to play alongside him...
And now Marc has just said he enjoys playing with Zach Randolph, that they have a great communication and understanding of the game and that it would be hard for Pau to be a bench player.
