LA seems lost without Gasol on the floor. When he's running the offense, things actually work. Shots go up for better or worse, and everyone moves with purpose. If the Lakers win this series, it will be because of Gasol.

We need that plus lucky days at defense and 3 point shooting...

Since Kobe went out, Pau is 22 for 64 thats 34% from the field in 4 games.

Hope he is gone this summer, I really do. I am fed up with protecting this guy. We're living in the past & we should move on!

Should've shut him down when he had 3 consecutive good games. His trade value wasn't going to get any higher. Now it's back to taking a steep dive.

He didn't have a triple-double, but that doesn't mean his trade value just plummeted or anything. Look at the numbers:

Howard: 16/9/2 with 4 blocks and 5 tos (7/12)
Duncan: 16/5/0 with 2 blocks and 1 stl (8/18)
Gasol: 13/9/4 with 1 block and 0 tos (5/14)

All in all, it's not that bad. We just need more from him to win. But if we want to go that route then also look at 6/15 Blake, 5/13 Metta, 2/6 Jamison.

I agree though that he needs to be more aggressive. Much more.

I swear Pau is only trade value to people here. It's upsetting. One bad game and the only thing brought up is his lower trade value. If there ever was a scapegoat....

Same guy who never won a playoff game without Kobe, still hasn't. Gets paid superstar money and is an all star at best only with Kobe behind him as support. This is why Memphis gave him away, wasnt worth the billing and wasnt premier when Tim, KG, JO, Amare, and Boozer were all playing the same spot. A real 20mil player and franchise big wouldnt piss their pants like he has every playoff game the last couple years, let alone not win a damn playoff game without Kobe

0-14 in playoff games without Kobe yet makes 20mil :man4:

Not sure how he can shoot 12 out of 30 with the looks he had in the 1st 2 games ... and the effort on D or lackthereof is pathetic as usual

well that's only the 3rd postseason in a row he dissapeared

Glad to see how worthless Pau is on defense. Standing straight up, ball watching, feet in cement. Typical. Add in the fact that he can't make a shot on offense that are WIDE open. But he makes great passes!!!!

Pau ain't trying to avoid 0-15 at all without Kobe in playoff games

Ship him out on draft night, don't wait for Dwight's decision or for him to possibly play for Spain and get hurt

I haven't posted here for a while but all I see is whining about Pau. Pau is an excellent player. I wish the Lakers get rid of him because our fanbase don't deserve him. He's better than 90% of the power forwards in the NBA, and if it weren't for him, the Lakers would not have won 2 championships. Everyone turned on him like he's Luke freaking Walton. Let's get back to reality check that the Lakers aren't going to win the big one for a while with Kobe aging and possibly Howard might not come back. Let's not forget D'antoni as our coach. I'm going to vomit.

One of the weakest triple doubles I've ever seen, his defense was pathetic. I still want him traded, like I said, he will let you down again in time. Trade, amnesty, whatever, thanks for the championships ands memories Pau.
