A couple big ifs unfortunately.....

I still think he has some game left in him but he needs a different system and different expectations.

Agreed. I don't have any expectations for those ifs to be achieved. I can't wait to see what he brings us via trade, which I think is i*******. (imminent is a swear word on CL :man10: )

I don't see Pau finding himself again in this system, but we'll see. I think a trade to Milwaukee could help both teams...

Pau Gasol, Devin Ebanks, DJO for Monta Ellis and Ersan Ilyasova

Nash...Blake
Meeks...Ellis
Kobe...MWP
Ilyasova...Jamison
Howard...Hill

Ellis is a monster scorer, but seriously?

You'd trade the most skilled 7 footer for A stretch 4 and a guy who loves to shoot?

I guess MDA has really changed the perceived needs for a championship among the fans...

Ilyasove is way overpaid. No thanks. I actually would prefer a 3 team with Minny and Sac, where we put Cousins with Dwight. Need Nash, Kobe, and even D. Fish back to help with Cousins maturity, but him and Dwight running the "HORNS" with Nash, Kobe, and maybe Marcus Thornton would be interesting. If he can turn the light on to be a defender and rebounder, along with his mid-range and roll-to-the-rim skills he could be unstoppable with Nash. But I know, he is a 4 year old in a 22 year old's body.

Get him out of here! Enough with all the basketball I.Q. talk and about how he's the most versatile big man in the game. This kind of talk is what keeps you holding on too long. It's essentially saying "What if?"

Didn't we go through 7 years of this with Odom? He is too soft, mentally weak, and timid, just like Odom, so give him a fresh start somewhere else. We need youth and guys willing to ball, not flop to the ground and look at the refs for a bailout when you blow a layup.

I think Pau could give us the same numbers as last year still.. That would involve limiting Dwight though. I don't think it's the worst idea in the world untul Dwight gets closer to 100%

What's the point of being the most skilled 7 footer when you only use those skills less than half the time?

I think by now, Nash understands its his duty to get Pau involved + engaged in the game.

And that's a knock on Pau if anything
There are two teams that play in the Staples Center:
the LA Lakers and NBA Clippers.

Its a really tough match up for him though. The speed with which the Knicks can play at could make him look very stiff.

Add Corey Brewer to the list of guys Pau will do a fadeaway on. :disagree:

HUGE play at the end. I was screaming up at down when he yammed it all over the Knicks.

I hope this is a sign of things to come for him. I hope this means he's rediscovered his toughness.

He's Lamar Odom! Lol he does enough to help you win but does some boneheaded things or blows easy scoring opportunities lol that last dunk made my Christmas complete!

Solid game, he really just needs to be more aggressive. Stop shooting those short ones and fade aways, just go up strong.
