He was the only one who didn't get into foul trouble. Thankfully he took advantage of it.

I think the refs saw his utter lack of physical strength and just assumed that he couldn't possibly be fouling people.

Gasol is terrific, no question about it. When he's on the floor, good things happen.

He's been great, just great. That jumper that he didn't really use last year because he was our center has returned, and he seems to hardly miss. Also, when he's posted up and making moves to the basket he seems more aggressive than before. It seems to me like he got a little tired of being labeled soft and now when he's backing guys down he's doing it a little harder, throwing his weight around, thrown an elbow in the back here and there, I like it. He also seems less concerned with flopping and flailing for the foul call, and more concerned with actually just making the shots and finishing.

Hes tougher then Dirk when he wants to be. plus last years lack of jump-shots was due to playing at the center position as you said but also was dealing with ankle problems.. I believe Stu pointed that out last year when people were wondering why he couldn't make them consistently or why he wasn't taking them enough.

Even though Bynum is supposedly our stronger and "tougher" low post player, Pau still backs down his man better than Bynum does. He needs to show Bynum how to use his footwork and not just raw physical strength in backing down opponents.

I love when Pau drives to the basket. He usually draws a foul or gets a layup. Definitely appreciate Gasol!

Gasol is playing consistently, and very well. whether he's playing PF or C. When he's at PF, his 15 foot jumpers seem perfect. When he's at C, his post up moves work most of the time. And he's making good decisions, finding open shooters and slashers.

I loved that jam over birdman. it was a bit diminished because he fell over after the dunk. it would've been good if Birdman fell and Pau just stared him down.

if we are to believe sky. the org was after Pau for a few years. he is the perfect compliment to kobe. Submissive yet effective. The perfect #2. He usually takes games over early allowing Kobe to feel his way through then when its time Pau happily takes back seat to kobe.
game 7 against suns.
finals against celts

I love Pau. He's the most consistent player on our roster. Kobe's the most talented but theres time i'm afraid he's going to take a bad shot or dribble too much. With Pau, you know he's going to make a good decision to pass it to the right guy or get an easy 2 points. Love his game.

Thats close to what I said. I think he's very tough, it's just that his physical weakness doesn't back him up. When he drives to the lane he looks like he's getting pushed but it takes very little contact to move him that's all.
