But management said this roster was made for D'Antoni's offense.
Pau is struggling but so is Howard....coincidence?
It will fit ( better than it does now, at least ), when the point guard comes back. No Nash and this team will struggle to reach the heights that we hoped it would.
I'm shocked that fans are not seeing this.
How can you put all your eggs in one basket? This isn't a young 30 year old Nash, we're expecting back. Its unfair to Nash to have these expectations that he will save this offense. And even if he does, there is certainly his minutes to consider for the postseason and there is also to health issue as well.
This offense is based off of your PG's strengths. You can't keep burning Kobe up to play a PG position and you can't put it all on Nash neither.
I admire how some of you want to believe this will work....but even if it does work, you're emphasizing the wrong components. That young guy that will become a FA should be the center piece on offense. Kobe will get his regardless, but you need to make him feel important. This offense will not do that for him, unless Nash deliberately makes it so.
I'll allow this to play out, but come postseason, we'll see how this all plays out and IMHO, it won't work out favorably for us.
