Pau Gasol diagnosed with plantar fasciitis

Whatever ... just take a quicker decision on this one than on tendinitis , I don't want 2 weeks of poor play and whining then read the headline " Lakers have decided to rest Gasol due to plantar fasciitis"

so I guess the 5" vertical we saw in that dunk vs NYK was a one-off event

Pau need to be traded right now.....he is old, slow and injury prone and he need to go....we want team to have ability to fight for championship and we cant do that with him.....we need young athletic guys and I dont care about players IQ or anything else....we need guys who can play defense, run and jump high...Pau was great for us in recent years but its time to move on.....Can we amnesty him?????

I see it as a sign from above to bring Jamison back into the rotation. hope MDA put him in the starting lineup and i have a feeling well see a 15-18 points game from him with Nash delivering him something like 4 3pointers.

i agree with this 100%.....our defense cant be weak as it now....in this team at this moment Jamison can score more then Pau and he can be more productive then Pau...maybe we need to try trade Pau for some athletic SF...that would be great with Metta playing on 4 for the rest of the season....but I have faith in Mitch, he will figure it out what he can do......i think they are waiting for some time to see the team with Nash and after that if things start to go in bad direction they will move him I am sure.

We have the same sense of humor. I texted the same thing to a friend. I don't even call him Gasol anymore, but the swear filter won't allow me to post what I call him IRL.

So many bad news, I'm really slowly starting to worry about we might miss the playoffs this season, the western conference is just too tough and competitive

Pau still needs to be played but the Lakers just need to limit and lower his minutes, let Pau plays 20-25 mins per game, with Pau playing lower minutes, MDA will need to play Hill more minutes, Hill should provide us much needed energy, hustle and rebounding on the court, our defense will also improved with Hill, Hill needs around 20 minutes per game with Pau being limited.

this SHOULD mean that we should start seeing more of jamison

BUT

our coach is mike dan tony so i highly doubt it

And because of that we are unlucky. As long as we can get as healthy as possible come playoff time I believe we'll have a chance to make a run.

Watch Mike putting MWP in starting rotation at PF to guard Lamarcus Aldridge dude will put 30 easily on us like always....And who will guard that crazy guy Batum, Kobe?

Yeah i don't hide that, it's because Kobe was great at O, whole team got destroyed at D, not just Kobe.
And Brewer got game of his life with 6/7 shooting for 3, NO WAY he can do that again, even with no defender on him.
I just hate how guys like Batum, Mathews, LMA always go HAM on us.....it's so anoying to watch, especially because we are playing on our court.

I'm currently dealing with plantar fasciitis and I can tell you it's really tough to just stand or walk after 20 minutes or so on my feet. If Pau has moderate to severe plantar fasciitis, I can see why he's struggling in games the way he has. It's a difficult issue to treat, and could possibly be something that will hamper him for the rest of his career. I mean, crap, I've cancelled several trips to Disneyland this past year because of it
