^Yeah, I read that on LG, earlier. I figured somebody would post it. There was a report earlier in the year when Nash was injured that Mitch wanted to see how Pau worked with Nash and apparently Mitch informed Pau's reps that he wouldn't be looking to trade Pau at that time.

Well, fast forward, and Pau hasn't changed his game much with Steve; and now Pau, the star starter, is coming off the bench. He's already voiced his displeasure about it. So much drama...

So with Dwight Howard or Gasol out, we have the point differential of a 61 win team? I really don't get that number. If that were the case, we would have more wins.

with Howard out I would've hoped Pau stepped up his game, we've lost him sad to say, no effort really he's just there cause he has to be.

Pau's comments right now on TWCSN were interesting. He said what was said in the players meeting today should stay with them, doesn't know how it leaked out, but it should be kept with them. He clearly was not happy about that, kinda seemed like he was hinting that somebody on the team is leaking to the media and he was not cool with that, said it should stay in the family, and if it keeps leaking out eventually things will blow up.

Pau protected the rim once tonight.

I guess that's progress. :man10:

He's not an all star, but I like his play at the center position, honestly. Man, if only we had prime Lamar Odom right now. Those two had THE PERFECT CHEMISTRY out there.

So Pau is in the game by himself with no Howard most of the game. But is he down by the basket much? NO. We have no one down by the basket much of those possessions. This isn't Pau's idea, right? It's Dan's instructions for his "post up hating" POS offense that he happened to have the perfect group of players to run it last decade?

Actually he had about 5 great sequences at the rim. A few of them came right after a blow by that made me mad in the Gameday, but then all of a sudden he started protecting the rim. That was some of the better D I've seen him play in some time.

I was impressed with his play actually last night. I can't put my finger on when we lost, but we were playing pretty well before Dwight went down. When he went down the air completely left the sail.

As for his quote I think he's right. It's strange that the specifics of that meeting were leaked so quickly. Who's talking? My bet is it's someone that you wouldn't expect. Like Duhon or something.

For some reason I thought of Duhon also. Everyone else seems like they could keep the private meetings to themselves but Duhon does look like a talker.

I think it's because he's ALWAYS been interviewed after games for NO reason. :man10: the dude pretty much sucks and he's not really an important piece and even when he's not playing much he's always interviewed post game.

Not to mention I feel like the guys who have been here wouldn't talk. I'd be surprised if it was Jordan, Metta, Kobe, or Pau. Howard we'd already know if it was him (and why would he admit to backing down from Kobe?). Earl, Morris, and Meeks don't strike me as gossips, they've been quiet all season. Jamison is a pro...

Pure speculation on my part comes up with Duhon. :man10:

He might have started off well but 2nd half, dude looked empathetic, just going through the motions.

Well he played REALLY well in the 1st half and then the second half he lost steam. But hey, so did everybody else so I won't single him out for that.

^^ I thought he played well too. After a couple blow bys from guards I was angry at him, but right after that he started D-ing up in the lane well. Didn't last forever. But at least he tried.

Yeah he had that stretch where he blocked like 3 shots in 2 minutes or something and that was really nice. Then I don't remember him playing :man10:

Weird. Watching the game I remember him turning back two shots from Randolph and at least one drive at the rim.

Pretty interesting, since Nash came back, Pau's FG% is 48%

But hes gotta rebound and play better defense though. That is by far our biggest problem
